About me: Psychologist and MBSR-Trainer in Berlin
As a Psychologist, I work in Berlin and online. My work is informed by insights from mindfulness research, neuroscience and neuroimmunology. In my work, I specialize in psychological resources in the context of systemic power structures and how these influence mental and physical health, as well as our inner psychological systems and our relationships. Together we expand your scope of action and identify inner and outer resources.
In my certification process as an MBSR trainer (according to Jon Kabat-Zinn), the integration of meditation practice into my everyday life was particularly important to me, and I now support my clients in this. In my MSC training (Mindful Self-Compassion) with Christopher Germer for psychologists, I have deepened compassion practice as a resilience factor especially for social professions.
I have worked for many years in individual coaching and counseling with a focus on chronic illness and have specialized in trauma-sensitive mindfulness practice.
I offer resources for working with teams, groups and self-organizations that are particularly important for good collaboration, also with regard to intersectionality.
It is particularly important to me to treat my clients with appreciation and resource orientation.
“Compassion is the art of the heart to let yourself be touched by suffering – one’s own and that of others – to respond with kindness and understanding.”(Sven-Joachim Haack)
Mindfulness and self-compassion have proven to be key health and resilience factors for my clients. It can also be very supportive for our everyday life to learn to be connected with ourselves and our environment at the same time and not to lose ourselves in the process. A mindfulness practice integrated into everyday life can be a valuable resource, especially in challenging situations and times of change.
